Kings of Mercury is an Australian rock band formed in 2021. The band's sound has been described as a mix of classic rock, hard rock, and blues rock. They have cited influences such as Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, and The Black Crowes.
Initial Concepts
Mercury band logo. These concepts are based on the client's request for a logo that features a king's crown, a circle shape, and texture details that represent the planet Mercury.
New Direction / Concepts
In accordance with the client's new direction, I have designed a grunge-inspired band logo for Kings of Mercury. The logo features a stylized combination of the letters K and M, which are inspired by the logos of popular rock bands from the 1990s. The lettering is freehand and organic, giving the logo a more natural and authentic feel.
